Mansur Mallick professional profile



Mr Mallick was born in Lahore in August 1930.

He obtained his primary education from Raja High School in Calcutta and later from Watan High School Lahore.

He obtained his law degree from "University Law College" Lahore in 1955

Obtained Masters in Political Sciences in 1956

Specialised in the Constitutional matters, Civil and Criminal Laws

Special Interest in International Law

Became “Member" of the Hight Court Bar" Association of Lahore in 1956

He was elected "Secretary General" of the Lahore Bar Association in 1964-1965

Was elected "Senior Vice President" of the Lahore Bar Association in 1967-1968

Had the honour of being "the Acting President" of the Lahore Bar Association in 1968-1969

Had unique honour of being "the youngest President" of the Lahore Bar Association, Lahore in 1970-1971

Was re-eclected as “President" of Lahore Bar Association in 1983-1984

Enjoyed "Membership of the Executive Committee" of Lahore High Court Bar Association on several occasions

Acted as “Chairman" of the Committee for medical amenities and Hospital of Lahore High Court

Represented Government of Pakistan in the 28th Session of Asian African Legal Consultative Committee in 1989 in Nairobi, Kenya


Mr Mallick is a poineer of Lawyer’s movements and conventions, has organised several important symposiums and seminars across Pakistan and has earned name as an eminent Lawyer dedicated for Civil Liberties, rule of Law and Democracy.
